The mission of the Lawson Family Boating Heritage Center is to preserve the boating history and facility of the Lawson family on Chautauqua Lake; educate and enrich people's lives through this reflection of the past; and reach out to children and adults of all ages by providing educational boating exhibits, hands-on displays, classes and workshops. In addition, The Lawson Center provides a community focal point for events and a showcase for the area's rich boating heritage.
